Getting more creative!

My first attempt with the MyMemories program.

New to Digital

I am new to the digital scrapbook world. But I am enjoying the ease of clicking and placing my pictures, papers, and embellishments. I am also having fun picking out digi elements from different sites. I love that I can sit at the computer and whip out a couple pages a few nights a week, instead of trying to get several finished in an afternoon.

I began scrap booking 8 years ago, 2 months before the birth of my first son. At one point I was almost caught up, but am currently 2 years behind in the family albums. I switched to digital in hopes that I can still showcase my pictures, but get through the pictures without incurring the photo development cost of 2 years worth of pictures. (I do not know the meaning of picture-diet! I love to photograph all events, major and minor!)

I plan to get my paper fix by scrappin' the vacations (our many trips to Disneyland) and the kids' school/sport albums in paper. Which considering my limited opportunities to spend whole afternoons creating layouts is about all I can handle.
